Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) is a skill-based undergraduate degree program designed to provide hands-on training and industry-oriented education. Unlike traditional academic degrees, B.Voc focuses on practical skills, making graduates job-ready in various sectors. The program follows a multi-exit system, allowing students to leave after one year with a diploma, after two years with an advanced diploma, or complete three years for a full degree.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) introduced the skill development-based higher education scheme to enhance vocational training at the college and university level. This program leads to a Bachelor in Vocation (B.Voc) degree, offering multiple exit points such as Diploma and Advanced Diploma under the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF).

Unlike traditional degrees, B.Voc emphasizes practical experience over theoretical knowledge, making graduates job-ready. The program is designed for universities and colleges to integrate specific job roles with general education, ensuring industry relevance. Recognized and accepted like any other conventional degree, B.Voc aims to bridge the skill gap and improve employability across various sectors.

Eligibility Criteria

Age 18 years , Class 12th Passed (Any Stream) OR Class 10+ ITI (2 Years)
